Adjustable Rectangular Bench Installation
What once took days can now be done in about an hour and these products can be installed before or after the finish tile is applied to vertical surfaces. Tested weight capacity on the benches is 400 lbs, on the shelf it is 100 lbs, over and above mortar and finished slab when installed to manufacturer's instructions.
These self-supporting, one piece frames are easy to install with supplied fasteners, requiring no additional waterproofing or structural reinforcement.
The Adjustable Rectangular Bench BUY NOW
This adjustable bench can be mounted to most vertical surfaces quickly and efficiently, saving the installer valuable time. The adjustable bench starts at 33 1/2" and can be pulled to a maximum of 60". Though this is a benefit, some showers are too narrow to accommodate the 33 1/2" and need something smaller.
All you need is a 4" hand grinder, metal cutting blade, and a sharpie to mark your line.
When cutting your adjustable rectangle bench, you will want to make sure that you cut both pieces the same, as well as cutting 2" smaller than measurement is suggested.

This bench adjusts from 33 1/2" to 60" x 3" Front Face and has 14 1/2" wall sides. Supplied with hollow wall anchors and wood screws.
If building greater than 36" long or if you have one end without a support wall, you will need one of the two support options. Support bolt requirements on link above OR BT-17S Support for the center/open end of the Bench. You will require one support for every 36".
